Indianizer is a “psychtropicalbeat-band” from Turin, Italy and was born in 2013, sprung from the minds of some psychonauts drawing their inspirations from Animal Collective’s wild frenzies and Django Django’s tropical rhytms. Following two self-financed EPs (Pandas – 2013 and Jungle Beatnik – 2014), their “Neon Hawaii” full-length album (Edison Box/PBP – 2015) was released in 2015 – thanks to this debut album the band toured in Italy and Europe. Their first album was one of the Top 50 albums of 2015, according to Noisey/Vice.
On the 27th of March Indianizer released their second album “Zenith”, which is a trippy blend of tropical vibes, hypnotically beats and psychedelic lyrics.
Frontman Riccardo Salvini: “When you listen to our music we want you to forget everyday life for a little while. We challenge you to reach new ‘zeniths’, both mentally and physically. Our goal is to let everybody in the room dance. And if you really don’t want to dance, you can still enjoy our music psychedelic visuals.”
“One of the nine unforgettable concerts of Rencontres Trans Musicales de Rennes 2018.” – Les InRocks
“It is danceable, it is energetic, it has psychedelic influences and that together makes it nice and special.” – Camiel Music
“That idiosyncratic musical mix makes Zenith a festive album for moments this spring when the sun breaks through and you feel comfortable in your skin. Englishmen would call it ‘uplifting’.” – Muzine
